Where to Find Mr. Redlegs Benches in Cincinnati

Cincinnati is a baseball city. Did you know that Cincinnati was the birthplace of the sport? The Cincinnati Red Stockings were the first professional team in the world. This year, our beloved team is celebrating its 150th anniversary, and there will be lots special events throughout the season to commemorate this milestone. For Cincy kids, perhaps the most fun experience is the addition of the Mr. Redlegs Benches all around the city.

Celebrate the Reds anniversary with your kids – here’s Where to Find Mr. Redlegs Benches in Cincinnati:

The Reds have placed 24 benches throughout the tristate area. Each bench has the 150-year anniversary logo, as well as Mr. Redlegs himself. Think of this as a “Where’s Waldo” with the Reds mascot.

These benches feature a sculpture of Mr. Redlegs in the various throwback uniforms to be worn by the Reds during the 2019 season, along with the team’s current uniform designs. Bring your camera — these unique benches make for fun photo opps! (See above: this photo was snapped at Devou Park and features a breathtaking backdrop with the Cincinnati and N. KY skylines!)

This is a fun, kid-friendly scavenger hunt for all Redlegs fans. This summer, make it your mission to find them all!

Be sure to snap a few photos to share on Instagram and Facebook, and use the #BornToBaseball hashtag so the Reds can see your 150th-anniversary adventures!
