Here we are — the first weekend in April (and no — that’s no April Fool’s Joke!).

April in Cincinnati is simply wonderful. Not too hot, not too cold. Long, lazy evenings as the school year winds down. Afternoons at the park. Baseball season. Big, blue skies that are perfect for kite flying.

Reforest Northern Kentucky

Where the Wild Things Play

Saturday, April 2, 1 – 3 p.m.
Washington Park, 1230 Elm St., Cincinnati, OH 45202
Kids and adults alike will love the stories and songs, art activities and creative movement, “Where the Wild Things Play” at Washington Park. All activities are led by Cathy Barney, founder and director of Artsy Fartsy Saturdays. This week, kids will celebrate Opening Day by making a felt pennant.

Dubbed “Tulip Mania,” Zoo Blooms also features more than one million daffodils, hyacinths, flowering trees, shrubs and other spring bulbs exploding with color.
