Hey, music fans! Hollywood Action and Adventure will surely get your heart pumping as the Pops perform hits from Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Mission Impossible!
Oktoberfest Zinzinnati
Friday, Sept. 16-Sunday, Sept 18 in Downtown Cincinnati
Pretzels, cream puffs, pork schnitzel, oh my! Head downtown for the largest Oktoberfest in the country! First held in 1976, the event has grown to be America’s largest Oktoberfest with more than 500,000 people attending each year. It’s held on Second and Third Streets between Elm and Walnut.
Ohio Renaissance Festival
Saturday and Sunday in Harveysburg
Travel back to the 16th century at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Celebrate International Talk like a Pirate Day with us all weekend long! Rollicking sea chanteys, the Pirate Stunt Show, and Pirate Play Time awaits ye land lubbers! Talk like a Pirate Contests (for adults and kids) will be held so enter to see if you can talk the talk or have to walk the plank!
Bluegrass for Babies
Saturday, Sept. 17 from 3-9 p.m. in the Eden Park Pavilion
Head to Eden Park Pavilion for the most family friendly concert all year! The concert, which runs from 3-9 p.m., features music from top bluegrass bands, family-friendly activities, local concessions {Dewey’s pizza, anyone?} and much more {including a Cincinnati Parent booth and prize wheel!}.
Third Sunday Funday: Happy Birthday, President Taft!
Sunday, Sept. 18, 1-4 p.m. at the Taft Museum
Ohio’s most famous president {yup, the one who got stuck in the bathtub} is having a birthday! Celebrate the President’s 159th birthday at his half-brother’s home. Discover portraits of William Howard Taft and other famous faces. Make a cherry blossom tree in honor of his time as President. At 2 p.m., a park ranger from the William Howard Taft National Historic Site will tell us about Taft’s life.
