Touch a Truck events put kids in the driver’s seat of their favorite big vehicles: fire trucks, garbage trucks, diggers and dump trucks. These popular events are being held all around Cincinnati this summer, guaranteeing your kids tons of touch-a-truck fun! Be sure to bring a camera — there are lots of fun photo opps at these free events!

May 6 from 11 am-5 pm
Whether your child loves backhoes and bulldozers, is fascinated by taking things apart or marvels at superstructures like skyscrapers and bridges, Building Big Ideas is ready to fuel that passion with building and design challenges. Aspiring architects can also meet and greets with experts in their fields and get a firsthand look at how the manmade world around them is built. Free for CMC members; included with admission for nonmembers.
May 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Green Township Administration Building, 6303 Harrison Avenue
This year we will have the Hamilton County Specialized Rescue Unit on display along with many other cool trucks for you to explore. This free annual event is a favorite for young and old alike.
May 23 from 4-7 p.m. at Summit Park
Celebrate Public Works Week with some of Blue Ash’s best trucks! Free.
June 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sharonville Convention Center
June 7 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Montgomery Community Pool
This popular event is held annually at the Montgomery Community Pool and is free for pool members; nonmembers pay a nominal entrance fee.
June 13 from 3:30-7 pm
Blue Ash police, fire, and public works visit. Features safety information, face painting, snacks, free helmets from Children’s Hospital, obstacle course, giveaways and touch-a-truck event! FREE.
June 16 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at 9150 Winton Road (Civic Center parking lot)
Big trucks have always amazed kids! Springfield Township’s Touch A Truck event will introduce over 50 different vehicles (and a helicopter) to kids of all ages. Participating vehicles include a variety of service, luxury and food trucks. Meet police officers and fire fighters. A mobile DJ will emcee the event. Bring your cameras. Kids will have a chance to climb aboard many of the trucks!
June 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Square @ Union Centre
Check out all the cool trucks and vehicles that serve our community every day. Fire trucks, police vehicles, snow plows, helicopters and more will be on display. This is a free, family-friendly event on The Square.
June 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church (247 US-22, Maineville, OH 45039)
Free, community wide event where kids have the opportunity to see, touch dozens of cool vehicles.
Aug. 2 from 9-11 a.m. at Weller Park
Montgomery’s annual Touch a Truck event is free and held rain or shine!
Sept. 8 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Deerfield Towne Center
Deerfield Parks is teaming up with the Deerfield Towne Center for our annual Touch-A-Truck event! Climb in a variety of vehicles, enjoy the petting zoo, and receive fun giveaways at this free community event.
