One of my favorite mother-daughter outings is having afternoon tea. Not only are we enjoying delicious teas, sandwiches and delightful assortments of desserts, she is also learning the art of etiquette. It’s our time to dress up and enjoy quiet moments of conversation together.

Their hours are Monday – Saturday 9 am to 7 pm (Kitchen closes at 6 pm) and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. Or plan a private party – you can have the most memorable moments with your friends while being served tea, food and delicious desserts by their highly dedicated and knowledgeable tea consultants. Come explore the world of tea as they host various educational, relaxing and cultural tea events throughout the year, and offer a little of something for everyone.
The experts at Churchill’s have travelled around the world to bring you the finest and freshest loose-leaf teas from the best tea gardens. And they personally taste all the teas to ensure the best quality. They offer tea tastings and a “Learn About Tea, Learn About the World” program so you can learn more about the origins and customs of tea – whether you are interested in English Afternoon Tea, the Chinese art of the Gongfu Tea Ceremony, the Japanese Tea Ceremony or masala chai. Public events are scheduled February through October and private classes and tastings can be set up for groups.

Located in Liberty Township, the Tea Parlor serves formal afternoon tea each week on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Plus, they serve full afternoon tea, as well as dessert tea, cream tea, or savory tea, and children’s regular or party tea. Their food is made from scratch using the finest of ingredients including a majority of organic meats, fruits, and dairy products. And the menu changes monthly to highlight the season’s finest flavors! Over 50 different types of loose leaf teas are available, as well as their signature pineapple-ginger iced tea.
