We’re nearly a month into quarantine, and everyone’s likely going a bit stir crazy. And, it’s April, which in Cincinnati means Seattle-level raininess. Before you invest in a giant hamster wheel for your kids, check out these virtual exercise classes, which are all family-friendly *and* free!
These Cincinnati attractions are offering free virtual exercise classes for kids:
Queen City Zumbini
Enjoy an hour-long, mommy-and-me style music-and-movement class on with Queen City Zumbini. Classes have been free and are listed on the events tab of her Facebook page!
Shine Yoga is offering FREE yoga classes for kids and adults and families — find a catalog of online classes on their website. While classes are posted for free, web donations are accepted — if you feel so inclined.
Tune in Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10 am for a 30-minute beginner-level class. Kids will learn a variety of mobility, strength and flexibility exercises they can do at home, based in parkour, tricking, swift fit, free running, and more.
The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati
The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati is bringing lots of fun classes straight to you with TCT Everywhere. Right now there’s a voice warm up from Miss Natalie, and be sure to tune in for upcoming movement classes.
Check out all-new YMCA family, kids, seniors and general health on-demand “Y Virtual” videos from Barre and yoga to bootcamp.
