Looking to refresh your library? The Friends of the Public Library (FOPL) has assembled an awesome collection of children’s books, young adult fiction, graphic novels, mysteries and classics. Non-Fiction, Teaching Texts, Learning Tools and other back-to-school gems are available for teachers, homeschoolers, parents and students of all ages. The FOPL will be hosting this awesome end-of-summer sale August 18-21 at its Hartwell warehouse (8456 Vine Street)!
The Friends’ Warehouse is bursting at the bindings with books on the arts, sewing, crafts and quilting, plus DIY and How-To manuals, travel guides and amazing cookbooks.
This Friends’ sale offers last-chance deals on $2 hardback fiction, as well as CDs, DVDs, VHS, Books-On-CD and even a few classic Laser Discs with the player! Prices range from just $1 for children’s books and paperbacks to $6 for current fiction and non-fiction. All items are priced to sell!
FOPL members will receive the customary 10% discount on all of their purchases; and on Sunday, August 21, current members will receive a 50% discount on everything they buy at the Warehouse! It’s a great time to renew or join The Friends of the Library!
Sale hours are:
- Thursday, Aug, 18: 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 19: 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 20: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 21: 12-5 p.m.
