Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival

If you’ve been looking for the perfect time to visit the Zoo this summer, now’s your chance! This Wednesday, July 20, as part of the annual Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival, admission to the world-renowned Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is just $1. (And who says a dollar can’t buy anything?)

The Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival is a day full of fun at the Zoo. There will be live music, parades, marching bands, the Cincinnati Circus, special animal encounters and tons of kid friendly crafts (in other words… kids, cultures, critters and crafts!). Get a full schedule of events here.

While Zoo admission is just a dollar all day Wednesday, you will have to pay for parking (which is $10 for designated Zoo lots). As such, we recommend carpooling to go green — and save some green!

Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival will run from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. With Wednesday’s forecast looking just about perfect (sunny and clear with highs in the mid-80s), expect big crowds! We suggest going early or late to avoid the biggest rush.

(Psst! It’s a big week for the Zoo — Hippo Cove opens this Thursday! We’ll be there and have the full story for you very soon. Stay tuned!)
