List of Ohio Museums offering virtual programming

While many organizations have closed their doors temporarily due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Ohio museums are offering many ways the public can continue to engage and access educational content from home.

The list of Ohio Museums offering virtual programming is available at ohiomuseums.org.

Even if you can’t physically visit a museum, you can still experience a wide variety of museum programming. Especially now, with school closures and many people social distancing at home, Ohio museums are offering many opportunities for the public to engage with their favorite museums even if they are not able to go through the doors.

The Ohio Museum virtual programming list includes opportunities from almost 30 museums and counting, with the list being updated daily.

These activities include live-streamed education lessons, virtual exhibition receptions, virtual museum tours, digital collections, virtual classrooms, interviews with field scientists, hands-on activity downloads, live-streamed concerts and lectures, and more.

In addition to the programs listed at ohiomuseums.org, the Ohio Museums Association encourages the public to seek out their favorite museums on social media — YouTube, Facebook, twitter and Instagram are great ways to learn more about what’s happening at your favorite museums and get amazing content.

The full list of programming, updated daily, is available at ohiomuseums.org.
