Liberty Center has a free train display that’s open year round

Train displays. Kids love them — and Cincinnati is a very train-forward city. But many of these displays will cost you, and while these attractions are undoubtedly worth it, isn’t it always nice to have a free option?

Liberty Center has a free train display that’s open year round.

Located inside Liberty Center’s outdoor Square, the Railway Express is decorated seasonally, with fun themes and twinkly lights.

Kids will see Thomas and his friends chugging along the rails at this display. A giant suspension bridge — reminiscent of Cincinnati’s Big Mac — runs over a house-filled valley. Each house and building has all little, tiny details that will keep kids captivated. The entire display is filled with natural elements like trees, rocks and foliage. (Please note — this display is located outdoors, so plan accordingly!)

Liberty Center’s Railway Express train display is another fun and FREE reason to visit this Butler County gem. And — it’s the perfect incentive to keep your kids in line during that next shopping trip!
