Oh, Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County: how I love thee. There are just so many wonderful (and free!) things to do at the library, and my kids are always excited to visit our neighborhood branch. And on our most recent trip, we discovered yet another reason to love the library: the brand-new Discovery Pass program!
With your Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County library card, you can now get free admission to local attractions with the new Discovery Pass!
If you have a library card (and owe less than $10 in fines), you can literally get free admission to several local attractions. (Got fees? It’s super easy to pay them over the phone or in person!)
With the new Discovery Pass program, you can get free tickets to:
Here’s how it works:
- Simply use the online reservation system to view which passes are available and to reserve a pass.
- Take the pass to the participating institution for admission

- Passes to the Taft Museum of Art admit two people
- Passes to Great Parks of Hamilton County admit one motor vehicle
- (You’ll return Great Parks of Hamilton County passes to any Library location by the due date)
And that’s it! This is a fantastic way to explore some of Cincinnati’s most unique attractions — for free! For more information, visit the library’s website.
