Free Cincinnati Fun

Our Top 10 Favorite Free Cincinnati Fun Activities:

1. Summit Park Nature Playscape

Summit Park’s Nature Playscape is expansive and features natural materials such as water, sand, mud, sticks and timber. Over the last few months, my kids and I have watched as log forts, ropes courses, two zip lines and kid-sized creek have come together into something truly magical.

2. Main Library’s MakerSpace

An indoor place where people can come together to play, learn, and create utilizing the materials provided in the space.

3. Tour your local fire station

In most Greater Cincinnati suburbs, you can tour your local fire station – for free!

4. Walk Across the Purple People Bridge

A one-of-a-kind, pedestrian-only interstate connector that’s, of course, purple

5. Blue Ash Nature Park and Playground

Calling it a nature “park” is a misnomer; there are actually several different playgrounds there. Each is connected to the main trail, and you can easily spend an entire afternoon visiting the different playgrounds

6Mt. Airy Treehouse

Mt. Airy Treehouse is as charming, unique and accessible as the Queen City herself, and is worth a visit with your family.

7. Splash Parks

Cincinnati has some seriously cool splash parks – and the best part is, they’re free! Washington Park and Smale Park are summer musts.

8. Creek Stomp

Creek stomping is a fun activity for kids, allowing them to get down n’ dirty, while also facilitating a connection with nature.

9. Rosenthal Education Center at the Cincinnati Art Museum
