Everything you need to know about Butterfly Fest at Blooms and Berries

Blooms and Berries recently announced the details for their top-secret summer festival, and it’s going to be the best summer fest in town! Happening July 7-15 (that’s two weekends and one entire week!) Butterfly Fest at Blooms and Berries is a breath of spring air in the middle of the summer. Featuring face painting, live music, food trucks, farmyard fun and of course, butterflies, Butterfly Fest needs to be on your family’s radar for July.

Tickets to this mid-summer festival are on sale now — here’s everything you need to know about Butterfly Fest at Blooms and Berries:

It’s 9 days long, and a Weekend Pass gets you admission for one weekend + an entire week

Butterfly Fest runs from 9:30 am – 6 pm July 7-15. A Weekend Pass or Kids Release Ticket costs just $9.50 – you’ll choose the weekend, and this pass also gets you admission every day during the week! (Including unlimited access to the Kids Play Area.)

500 butterflies will be released at 11 am on July 7th and July 14th

Butterfly Fest kicks off each weekend with a natural fireworks display — each Saturday at 11 am guests will get to experience a Grand Release of 500 Monarchs, Swallowtails and Painted Ladies.

A Kids’ Release Ticket lets your kiddo take part in the fun!

A Kids Release Ticket ($9.50) will ensure your child the opportunity to release a Painted Lady butterfly along with other kids as part of a coordinated release at different times throughout the weekend. These tickets are limited and only available online. Tickets are selling quickly — you can find current availability on the website.

Don’t be late!

The Butterfly Release events will be running on a strict schedule — I advise arriving early to ensure you have ample time to park and get checked in.

Wear your farm clothes

Blooms and Berries is a farm — and the fields can get muddy, especially with these pop-up downpours we’ve been having! Save yourself a mess and have your kids wear rain boots or crocs.

Buy your tickets now to reserve a spot — and save big!

Tickets to Butterfly Fest are on sale now – and you’ll definitely want to buy early.  In addition to reserving your kiddo a spot for the Butterfly Release weekend events, buying your tickets online also comes with money-saving perks! (And you’ll get to experience the Grand Release of 500 Butterflies at 11 am on July 7 and 14.)

You can also purchase a Weekday Pass for $7/person — but you’ll miss out on the weekend’s Butterfly Release Events, and those are truly something you’ll want to experience. (By comparison, tickets at the door will cost you $10.50/weekend day or $7/weekday — and these are day-only passes with availability based on presale numbers.) So do yourself a favor and buy your family’s tickets now!

Expect lots of picture-perfect photo opps, so bring your camera!

Blooms and Berries is the perfect setting for family photos – and Butterfly Fest is going to be absolutely stunning. With a mile-long trail of brightly colored pollinator plants and 1,000 native butterflies being released each weekend, there are ample opportunities for fun family photo opps. Get your tickets now for Butterfly Fest and take some time to enjoy what really matters this summer.
