The holiday season has arrived! As we look toward the holidays, you may be wondering which traditions to include this year. Drive-thru holiday light displays offer socially distant fun for the whole family. Happily, Cincinnati has a lot to choose from.

Christmas Nights of Lights at Coney Island (pictured)
When: Nov. 6-Jan. 9, 2020
Where: Coney Island
Tickets: $7/person. Children 3 and under are free.
Coney Island offers an enchanting drive-thru ride through its historic park — and this year, they’ve added more features than ever before! Christmas Nights of Lights is 2.5 miles of twinkling Winter Wonderland! Larger-than-life trees, glowing snowflakes, dancing candy canes and a tunnel of lights are all synchronized to music. The show will begin nightly at dusk and run through 10 pm. Christmas Nights of Lights is open every night including holidays.
Land of Illusion Christmas Glow
When: November 25-December 30, 6-10 pm. Closed November 30th, December 1st, December 2nd and Christmas Day

Land of Illusion’s Christmas Glow is Southwest Ohio’s largest drive-thru lights event. Featuring 1.5 miles comprised of 3 million of lights, Land of Illusion’s “Christmas Around the World” drive-thru experience is stunning.
When: Open 6-10 pm nightly, Thanksgiving though Dec. 31.

Light Up Middletown is one of Cincy’s best holiday hidden gems. Enter through a tunnel of lights into a luminous fantasyland. Sparkling reindeer leap over your car as you drive through the 100 acre park. Catch Santa zipping around on a jet ski, Rudolf ice fishing and a mysterious sea monster in the reflecting pond. Open 6-10 pm through Dec. 31. Admission is by cash donation only — you set the price!
Holiday in Lights
When: Open nightly from Saturday, November 21st through Saturday, Jan 2nd including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Closed Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. Hours are 6-9 pm Sunday-Thursday and 5:30-10 pm Friday & Saturday.

This drive-thru light display takes you across more than a mile of wooded roadway. See Santa and his elves. Discover scenes from A Christmas Carol, Babes in Toyland and It’s a Wonderful Life.

This is not only an incredible lights display, it’s also in an amazing, one-of-a-kind park. Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum is an outdoor gallery on a monumental scale. Holiday Lights on the Hill is two miles of dazzling lights displays at one of Cincinnati’s most beautiful locations.
Hidden Gem: Zapf’s Christmas Display
One of the most memorable local lights displays is Zapf’s Christmas Display at 2032 W Galbraith Road in North College Hill. The home is a mash-up of blinking lights, glowing candy canes and Nativity scenes. An army of illuminated Santas and snowmen stand guard. There’s even an iconic leg lamp from A Christmas Story on the front porch. The real jaw dropper is inside. The home is packed floor to ceiling with teddy bears, train sets and Christmas trees. The tradition has been going strong since 1940, passed down from father “Santa Z” to his kids.This drive-by lights display is definitely worth the trip!
