High School Learn-to-Row
This program is for students entering grades 9-12. Each athlete will gain a well-rounded understanding of the rowing stroke, the equipment, the terminology, and safety in and around the boathouse. Our experienced coaching staff leads all sessions.

Your Learn to Row fee includes the one week session, a one week skills development camp, and the remainder of our summer season. That’s right! Upon completion of your Learn to Row session you are eligible to join our high school or middle school team for the rest of the season at no additional cost.

Who: Any High School and Middle School students interested in learning the basics of the sport of rowing and joining our high school or middle school team. No prior experience necessary.

When: Choose a one week Learn to Row session that best fits your schedule from the list below. Sessions run Monday – Friday.

Where: The Great Miami Rowing Center is located on North B Street, right on the Great Miami River in Hamilton. Our indoors location is the “big blue building” at 330 N. B St, and our dock is located at 110 N. B St.

Why: To learn the basics of a new sport and become eligible to be a part of our competitive junior rowing program.
