These free afternoon programs offer great art, kid-sized art info, hands-on fun, and family-friendly performances. Drake Planetarium

We offer standards-based Science Programs to children ages 4 and up. Our interactive Planetarium programs encourage children to use critical thinking skills as they explore the universe. Our Engineering Lego Labs challenge students to put their science knowledge into practice in hands-on environment. All programs are age and curriculum appropriate.

Clifton Cultural Arts Center is a treasured community resource for Uptown Cincinnati and beyond, encompassing – and preserving – over 53,000 square feet of historically significant space in Gaslight Clifton. We’re housed in the former Clifton School building built in 1906 and opened our doors as CCAC in 2008. Since then, we’ve welcomed over 150,000 visitors for an exhibit, concert, theater performance, civic function, class, or celebration. CCAC is a registered non-profit and our mission is to strengthen the critical link between participation in the cultural arts and successful, healthy children, adults and communities.

Is your child on track to be a successful reader? For over 16 years, Langsford has been applying an evidence-based approach to reading difficulties, including Dyslexia, to turn struggling readers into confident and successful students. Langsford’s approach is to identify the root cause of the reading difficulty and then to implement research-validated reading programs. Langsford offers support for reading, comprehension, and writing. Langsford is also an approved Jon Peterson provider; contact us to see if your child qualifies for a scholarship from the Ohio Department of Education.

Founded in 1996, the Riley School meets on Saturdays September through May to teach children and adults to play music in the Irish tradition. Classes offered include Fiddle, Flute, Guitar, Irish Harp, Singing, Tin Whistle, and more. Open Houses each quarter for new and prospective students —see website for details.

The Cincinnati Ballet’s Children’s Division is focused on coordination, muscle strength, listening skills, musical and spatial awareness through an age-appropriate curriculum. Each child will participate in the annual Spring Production.
