Acellus Academy is an accredited online school for students in Grades K-12. Students receive personalized instruction through an accelerated teaching model in which students study and learn at their own pace. The school offers a wide variety of courses for elementary school, middle school, and high school including electives such as STEM, Foreign Languages, Fine Arts, Business, Finance, Health and more. Additionally, Acellus Academy offers NCAA approved courses nineteen Advanced Placement (AP) courses approved by the College Board. Our Mission at British Swim School is to ensure that everyone, regardless of age or ability has the opportunity to become a SAFE and happy swimmer. We teach fun, gentle and time-tested water survival & learn to swim programs for all ages and abilities from 3 months to adults.
Cincinnati Boychoir serves boys from all over the metro region with first-class vocal education and transformative performance and touring opportunities. Drawing from the cultural diversity of the area, we develop artists and artistry through music and cultural education and performance to build confident citizens and community leaders. We serve 200+ boys annually, hold up to 20 performances annually, and tour locally and abroad.
The Cincinnati Boychoir is one of the premiere professional boychoirs in the United States, maintaining a world-class performance level and the highest quality music education. Since 1965, the Boychoir has worked to create opportunities for every boy in the greater Cincinnati area to sing, regardless of music background, age, race, income, etc. and to ensure that it is a safe space for every boy. Located in the urban arts core of Cincinnati at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, the Boychoir reaches more than 300 young men each year from more than 100 schools in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Each year, the Cincinnati Boychoir presents approximately thirty annual performances in the Greater Cincinnati region and has performed concerts and completed residencies both at home and abroad. Most recently, the Boychoir has appeared on stages in the United Kingdom and Australia and heads to South Africa in June, 2018.
The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra is an independent ensemble of 32 professional musicians that launched the critically acclaimed summer music festival Summermusik in August 2015. The CCO offers a fun and informative musical experience in an intimate and informal setting. The CCO’s size allows for creativity in programming; presenting orchestral works ranging from Baroque and Classical eras to commissioned works by contemporary composers. Collaborations are a hallmark of the CCO, including partnerships with VAE: Cincinnati’s Vocal Arts Ensemble and the Cincinnati Art Museum. Summermusik concerts are presented in venues all around Greater Cincinnati, and the festival has experienced unprecedented growth under music director Eckart Preu.
Be sure to visit all three museums! The Duke Energy Children’s Museum is consistently ranked in the top 10 children’s museums in the U.S. and the exhibits encourage kids to climb, crawl, explore and learn about themselves and the world around them. Then, walk through a glacier and step back 19,000 years into the Ice Age in the Museum of Natural History & Science and learn about Cincinnati’s past and early life in Ohio in the Cincinnati History Museum. Group activities are also available for all ages, such as Scout Programs, Day Camps, Overnights, Sprouts Institute, Bright Ideas and Explorers University. Our programming is multi-diciplinary (like us), and focuses on everything from art and culture to science, history and technology.
