We know what you’re thinking: kids and glass? (And, in the spirit of full disclosure, there can also be small flames, glass cutters and other sharp tools.) Brazee Street Studios offers a variety of classes for kids and adults and a kit specifically for Preschoolers; all of which work with glass as the main medium.
Located in downtown Oakley, Brazee Street Studio offers in-class instruction and take home kits. A little worried about the glass part? The art is totally safe for most kids- you know your child best! Majority of the project is placing the pre-cut glass pieces and simply gluing them down.
With rotating monthly projects, stop in Tuesday or Thursday- Saturday to create a coaster, suncatcher, bowl, tray, mosaic, plate and much more! A small fee reserves your group and comes off the total cost. Projects range from $16-200.
No time to stay in the studio? Order a take-home kit, wait a week for kit assembly and pick up your pieces to customize at home! Kits include ornaments, suncatcher, preschool paper weight, bowl, Fiona suncatcher and more.
