COSI Science Festival is next week!

This May, COSI will be hosting one of the largest science fairs ever in Ohio! The COSI Science Festival is happening May 1-4, and will be four days of super-STEM-powered events concluding with a carnival celebration on the Scioto Peninsula.

“The COSI Science Festival will showcase how exciting, interesting, fun, and accessible science is to all of us and how relevant it is to our daily lives,” explains Dr. Frederic Bertley, President and CEO of COSI. “In addition, it will shine a light on the fantastic science, technology, and industry innovation in our great central Ohio region.”

Festival events will be happening all around Columbus beginning May 1. A list of exhibitors and events can be found here.

If you have to pick one event to attend, make it the Big Science CelebrationThis FREE event is something you won’t want to miss – with dynamic experiments, incredible demonstrations, and engaging hands-on activities hosted by Franklin County’s science, technology, engineering and mathematics focused organizations, the Big Science Celebration is sure to provide entertainment and learning opportunities for the whole family. Kids can touch a brain, build a marshmallow catapult, turn bananas into a piano, drive an underwater robot, talk to NASA researchers, see a ‘volcano’ explode, and MUCH more at this free science festival.
