Celebrate July 4 with the Cincinnati Pops!

This Saturday, The Cincinnati Pops are hosting a virtual July 4 extravaganza. This free, family-friendly concert will be streamed live on the Cincinnati Pops website, Facebook and YouTube pages.

Each year, the Pops part on a “Red, White & Boom” July 4 show that’s a beloved summer “must” for Cincinnati families. This year, in light of COVID-19, the Pops had to cancel the live event.

But the show must go on, and the Pops are making this year’s event extra special — most notably, by making the July 4 show a FREE, virtual event families can experience from home.

Conductor John Morris Russell and members of the Pops, along with special guests Melinda Doolittle and Over the Rhine, will headline the show. Patrons can enjoy special pre-recorded performances from the Steep Canyon Rangers and the U.S. Army Chorus, as well. And for the grand finale, Stars and Stripes Forever will transform into a virtual visual extravaganza to cap off the program.

Go to the Cincinnati Pops Live Events page on July 4 at 7 pm EST to watch the show! And be sure to visit cincinnatisymphony.org to learn more about the upcoming season and the Pops family-friendly offerings.
