Blooms and Berries Strawberry Fields are Opening This Weekend!

This is the best news we’ve heard in awhile: Blooms and Berries Strawberry Fields are Opening This Weekend!

Because  of COVID-19 (and a very cool spring), this year’s Strawberry U-Pick at Blooms and Berries will look a bit different. Here’s what you can expect:

The strawberry fields are opening slowly beginning this weekend (May 23-24). Blooms and Berries is hoping for 3 weeks of prime picking this season as soon as it warms up! Due to the huge demand over the upcoming holiday weekend, Blooms and Berries expects all field passes will be sold online the evening before each pick to maintain a safe picking environment.  It is likely, some days, they will make the call to “rest” the field to ripen for the following day.

Field passes will be limited to the amount of ripe fruit and to help minimize crowds during Covid-19. A Field Pass is required: $2.75 per person age 2 and up. Berries are $3.25 lb, $2.95 lb for 10 lbs or more

Keep and eye on the U-Pick page on the Blooms and Berries website. They  will update the U-Pick page by 5 pm each day if there will be picking the next morning.

Take a look now to familiarize yourself with their 2020 procedures so you’re ready to buy tickets when they are available! For more information, visit bloomsandberries.com.
