This Etsy-meets-Grandma’s-attic is basically the coolest flea market ever. Plus, there’s tons of local food vendors, live music, and, of course, all the amenities of Washington Park (The playground! Where the Wild Things Play!). Don’t miss the first flea of the season!
Scholastic Summer Reading Road Trip!

Scholastic is embarking on the ultimate reading road trip as they tour the country with favorite authors, illustrators, & characters and they are stopping at blue manatee! We are so excited to welcome Clifford the Big Red Dog and fantastic authors: Troy Cummings, Katherine Kenah, Mary Knight, and Jason Tharp!! Join us to be part of a fabulous nationwide reading festival for families with kids ages 0-12 to meet authors, enjoy crafts and activities and more! Da Vinci – The Genius Exhibit

It’s Opening Weekend for this acclaimed exhibit! Da Vinci – The Genius features 17 themed galleries with over 200 pieces, including life-size reproductions of over 70 machine inventions, educational animations of da Vinci’s most notable works and an eye-opening, in-depth analysis of his most famous work, the “Mona Lisa.” Push, pull, crank and interact with many of these exhibits for a hands-on understanding of the scientific principles behind them. This exhibit sounds like a perfect activity for summer break!
