Summer in Cincy means church festivals, free concerts and good, old fashioned family fun. During the summer months, you’ll find families enjoying themselves at a variety of outdoor events — heat, humidity and all! This weekend features all of the above – with a cherry on top! Panegyri Greek Festival
June 23-25 at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church
This annual festival features the best Greek fare in the city, plus music and all things Greek culture. Say Opa!
Mary, Queen of Heaven FunFest
June 23-25 at Mary, Queen of Heaven School
This N. KY church festival pulls out all the stops: rides, entertainment, food, raffles, a KidsLand and games galore! On Sunday, the kids can ride the rides the entire time the festival is open (3-8 p.m.) for just $20.
Summer Concerts in the Park
June 24 at Woodland Mound
Enjoy a free outdoor concert every week at a different Great Park. This weekend’s concert features the music of 4th Day Echo!
Sun-Day Sunday Sundae
June 25 at the Cincinnati Observatory
The Sun is the star attraction and you can learn all about our nearest stellar neighbor. Sun-day Sunday Sundaeincludes short talks about the Sun, tours of our historic buildings, and safe viewing of sunspots and solar flares from our 1845 telescope (weather permitting). As a special treat we will also have free sundaes for those in attendance. No reservations needed — free admission thanks to P&G.
Ice Cream Social Sundays
June 25 at BB Riverboats
Is there anything better than having ice cream in the summer? How about having ice cream while you cruise the Ohio River on BB Riverboats! On Sundays this season, each passenger will enjoy scooped ice cream and their choice of assorted toppings on this 1 1/2 hour afternoon sightseeing cruise. The Captain will guide your afternoon with interesting commentary about Cincinnati and the surrounding area.
