March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday — and the day is also celebrated as National Read Across America Day. (The month of March is also known as National Reading Month — Mr. Geisel clearly had a tremendous impact on reading and literacy.) Dr. Seuss’s stories are beloved for their fun and whimsy, and their repetition makes these books great for beginning readers. So March 2 is most definitely a day worth celebrating — and we’ve put together a guide to make Dr. S proud.
