10 Places to Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday in Cincinnati

March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday — and the day is also celebrated as National Read Across America Day. (The month of March is also known as National Reading Month — Mr. Geisel clearly had a tremendous impact on reading and literacy.) Dr. Seuss’s stories are beloved for their fun and whimsy, and their repetition makes these books great for beginning readers. So March 2 is most definitely a day worth celebrating — and we’ve put together a guide to make Dr. S proud.

Here are 10 places to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday in Cincinnati, based on your favorite book:

Do you like One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish? Go to Newport Aquarium.

Be a tourist in Cincy! One local destination that is perfect for this is the Newport Aquarium. If you’ve never been to the aquarium, don’t worry — we’ve got your first-timer’s guide right here. And if you have been there – it’s probably time to plan another trip, as Ring of Fire opens this March!
