Super Seuss: The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati’s The Cat in the Hat

Fridays-Sundays through July 9
Running June 2 – July 9, 2017, Dr. Seuss’s The Cat In The Hat will treat audiences to 36 up-close-and-personal performances in the small 152-seat performance space housed in the company’s facility on Red Bank Road in Hyde Park. Each ticket purchased opens the door to a special experience before and after EVERY performance

Supervillains: Star Wars and the Power of Costume at the Museum Center

Daily through Oct. 1
Does it get any more “supervillain” than Darth Vader? It doesn’t. Presenting more than 60 of the finest hand-crafted costumes featured in all seven films in the Star Wars saga, the exhibition uncovers the challenges, the intricate processes and the remarkable artistry of George Lucas, the concept artists and costume designers. The costumes reflect an eclectic mix of cultural, historical and mythical sources that add rich texture to the story. This exhibit is a summer must.
