Taste of Cincinnati
Sat., May 27-Mon., May 29 at Fountain Square
Taste of Cincinnati was started in 1979, ans is now the nation’s longest running culinary arts festival. This Memorial Day Weekend festival is the unofficial start of summer in Cincy, and features authentic local cuisine, international fare and food trucks.

Lebanon Appreciation Day
Sat., May 27 at LM&M Railroad
Kick off Memorial Day weekend with a train ride at LM&M! Celebrate over 100 years of railroading in Lebanon with a discounted train ride as we show our appreciation for the continued support of the community. Ride the entire section of railroad owned by the city of Lebanon for just $5. The train will feature Lackawanna Coach seating. Seats in all cars will be available on a first come, first served basis. All ticketed passengers will have access to our open air gondola car. Cash only concessions will be available while onboard the train.

Memorial Day Concert
Mon., May 29 at 6 p.m. at Blue Ash Towne Square
The Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Memorial Day Concert will begin at 6 p.m. at Towne Square. The concert’s theme is “American Memories,” and will include the works of Antonio Vivaldi, Aaron Copland, Modest Mussorgsky and will feature mandolin players Evan Marshall and Brian Oblerlin.

Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
Mon., May 29 from 10 a.m.-noon at Veterans Memorial Park
The parade will feature veterans groups, military units, the Fairfield High School Marching Band, community groups and organizations, the Fairfield Police Department, and Fairfield Fire and Paramedic units. The Hamilton-Fairfield Concert Band will be performing patriotic music and other favorites at Veterans Memorial Park from 10:00 am until noon. The parade concludes with a ceremony to pay tribute to our veterans, both past and present at Veterans Memorial Park. Guest speakers include representatives from local veterans groups and City of Fairfield Mayor Steve Miller.

Memorial Day at Krohn Conservatory
Mon., May 29 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
This Memorial Day, celebrate with the Monarchs at Krohn Conservatory’s patriotic party. In addition to exploring the glorious butterfly show, families can expect lots of interactive activities courtesy of the Cincinnati Fire Department, such as a real fire truck for exploring and on-site smoke house where kids can learn fire safety. As no summer party is complete without a grill-out, the Fire Department will be dishing out dollar hot dogs for hungry guests. To honor the holiday, all active military and veterans get free admission to Krohn’s Butterfly Show on Monday, May 29th. The event runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Memorial Day.
