The Tot Lot at Dogwood Park

My brother and his family live in Madisonville, and last week, my sister-in-law recommended meeting up at Dogwood Park for a playdate. Located in Mariemont at the corner of Pleasant Street and Wooster Pike, the Tot Lot at Dogwood Park is one they visit frequently, as it’s an easy walk.

After spending a few hours there with my kids, I understand why it’s one of their favorite playgrounds!

My kids are always up for a new playground, and the Tot Lot at Dogwood Park didn’t disappoint. This attraction contains all the playground amenities kids love: a huge playset, lots of slides, bouncy animals to “ride,” tons of swings, jungle gyms and lots of spinning things.

As a parent, I appreciated the fact that the Tot Lot is completely fenced in; being so close to Wooster Pike, it was a relief to have a safely contained space for kids to roam and run.

The playground is pretty large, too, providing lots of ground for running and playing “hide and seek,” as my kids did. Their cousin enjoyed hiding in a little tunnel.

With our kids being 4, 3, and 2, the Tot Lot at Dogwood Park lived up to its name: a perfect space for preschoolers and toddlers to play to their hearts’ content.
