8. Newport Aquarium

Rainy day? Spend it at the Newport Aquarium. 9. Findlay Market

The Findlay Market is the place to be on a summer weekend. With both outdoor and indoor vendors, the accessibility to fresh, delicious food options makes this a one-stop shop. Grab a loaf from Blue Oven Bakery, a fresh (hormone–free) chicken from Lunken’s and then a coffee at Urbana. Don’t forget a bouquet of flowers or some perennials for the garden. With the sun shining and background music playing, Findlay Market is like a summer block party every weekend.

10. One-Day Sunday, Family Fun Day
