Product Review: Cinnamon Toast Puffcorn Delites

This post is different that any others I have ever done. This post is an advertisement. An advertisement for potato chips. Mike-Sell’s potato chips contacted me about sampling some of their new chips and reviewing them on my blog. I told them I would, because I’m a sucker for free things, especially food.

But before I talk about potato chips I started thinking about all the things I would love to review if companies gave them to me. So, here’s my list of items I would gladly take off someone’s hands in order to review them for the blog.

Chocolate. Maybe a new type of Cadbury egg. I could handle that. Or something chocolate covered, like pretzels, or bacon.

Running gear- How about a new pair of running shoes? That would be great. There’s always a new Garmin running watch coming out on the market, I could take one of those for a spin. Or maybe a jogging stroller? I could toss in my kids and go for a lap of two around my little subdivision.

Minivan- Speaking of taking things for a spin, there are a couple of these bad boys I would like to try out. How about a Sienna? I’ve been eyeballing swaggerwagons ever since I saw the video for them on You Tube. If you’ve never seen it, it’s worth a look.

Beer. I will happily review any and all types of beer.

Any type of product made by Apple. iPhone, iPad, Apple TV. Our whole family could test the durability of new ipads if we were each given a new one. Seems like a win-win to me.

If you had your choice of items to review, what would they be?

Oh, I almost forgot about the chips.

I asked my kids these questions as they ate Mike-Sell’s Cinnamon Toast Puffcorn Delites.

What do they taste like?

Eloise (age 5): Cheesy and peppery, they’re good.

Henry (age 3): Popcorn. Mmm those are good.

I agree they did seem a little peppery for some reason. Why are they spicy? And where’s all the sugar?

What do they remind you of?

E: Popcorn, hot like a bell pepper.

H: Popcorn.

Would you spend your own money on them?

E: No, I would spend it on gum.

H: Yes. I would spend twenty dollars and twenty pennies on them.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, what would you rate them?

E: 5.

H: 14.

It looks like these Puffcorn Delites won over my three-year-old. Next time your at the store looking for a new snack, give them a shot. Or spend your money on gum, the choice is up to you.
