Kick Off The Holiday Season by Getting a Farm Fresh Christmas Tree and Helping The Community

Bartels Farm will host a food drive for Open Door Food Pantry November 24-26, the first weekend they are open for the holiday season. They will be collecting non-perishable food along with infant and hygiene items for the food pantry and will give a 10% discount on the price of a Christmas tree to any family who brings 5 or more items.

In an effort to support the community, Bartels Farm is partnering with Open Door Food Pantry to collect items that will benefit Butler County residents who are in need. “Our business is rooted in Christmas traditions. We provide a cut-your-own tree experience that is becoming a tradition for many families in the area. It only makes sense that we share this holiday spirit with our community by helping those in need,” said Brian Bartels of the farm. The mission of the farm is to provide an environment that allows the trees to thrive—removing pests and weeds—and they feel a similar mission applies to their community: create an environment where residents can thrive by relieving hunger.

Bartels Farm will be open every weekend after Thanksgiving until Christmas. The food drive will be held  Nov 24-26. Open Door Food Pantry accepts donations year-round.
