Now located in West Chester at the Voice of America Centre Plaza, The Silver Diva offers a unique alternative to the typical DIY-crafting experience.
Hand-stamping is recommended for ages 6 and up. Last week, I brought my daughter and her friend for
a morning of hand-stamping fun at The Silver Diva. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and then explored the store for their pieces. The variety of jewelry and gifts is incredible! Not only do they have necklaces, bracelets and earrings, but a wonderful selection of dads’ gifts such as bottle openers, keychains, golf ball markers, etc. Or, if you’re in need of a special bridal or baby shower gift, you can create a unique present sure to “wow” the bride- or mother-to-be. They also have a large selection of pre-made items stamped by their experts that can be ordered or bought in store.
The hand-stamping process at The Silver Diva is simple; and no experience or reservations are necessary. First, you’ll choose what you want to make. My daughter and her friend chose necklaces and bracelets. After picking their lettering font, they practiced on scrap metal using the font imprints and a special hammer. Then when the girls felt confident with their hand-stamping skills, they were given their own special piece to hand-stamp. After they were finished, the fabulous and creative staff member assembled the jewelry for us… and of course, the girls picked out some bling charms to complete the finished jewelry. My daughter is so in love with these pieces she rarely takes them off. Note: Your order will be ready for pick up 2 business days, or you can choose to pay for your order to be shipped to you.
