Coney Island is the epitome of summer in Cincinnati, with its classic rides, Goliath-sized pool and festive events and entertainment. This summer, Coney is kicking off the summer with a bang splash, with Dive Into Summer.
Dive Into Summer at Coney Island is a brand-new special event that Coney is bringing to the pool area for a week of high dives, pirate hijinks and old-fashioned family fun. The event kicked off last weekend, and we were lucky enough to get an up-close look at the special feats. Coney is well-known for its shows, and the Pirates show last weekend was everything a summer show at Coney Island should be: funny, exciting and kid-friendly:
Of course, no trip to Coney Island would be complete without a few Classic Rides. There are rides for kids of all ages, from bumper cars to carousels to giant slides! This beloved Cincy institution unveiled a new, playful logo this season, which better encapsulates the park’s commitment to family-friendly fun. It’s the kind of family fun that’s been a quintessential part of Cincinnati summers for 130 years.
All Dive Into Summer events are FREE* with a season pass, or the purchase of a general admission or Sunlite Water Adventure ticket (one exception: today’s Princess & Pirates Party, which has a limited number of tickets). This week’s events are also a fantastic excuse to visit the newly renovated Sunlite Water Adventure at Coney Island.
