May is Foster Care Month, which focuses attention on the need for foster families. The Bair Foundation, headquartered in New Wilmington PA, has been providing foster care and adoption services for over 50 years. We recruit and train foster families, preparing them to open their homes to children who need a safe haven. Most everyone has heard of foster care, but unless you have been involved in the system in some capacity, you may not realize how important it is.
The Bair Foundation has five offices that serve the state of Ohio, including local offices in Cincinnati and Moraine (Dayton area).
The Bair Foundation seeks out folks, whether single or married, with a heart for children to become foster parents. The need for new Bair homes is constant due to children continually coming into care. Bair’s mission is to have a home for every child in need of a safe, nurturing environment.
