This happens every February — you blink, and somehow, it goes from January to March. It’s crazy how a month that’s only a few days shorter than the rest can feel so short. We’re celebrating February in all its 28-day glory this weekend with a little bit of everything: comedy, drama, music and maple.
Here are 5 ways to bid farewell to February this weekend in Cincinnati:
Fri., Feb. 24 at 12:30 and 7:30 at The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati’s Red Bank Road facility
The year is 1849. Watch as Harriet Tubman journeys back into slave country to rescue her family and many others. Traveling by the cover of night and cloaked in extreme secrecy, Harriet never lost a passenger during her trips on the Underground Railroad. The story of this amazing woman known as “Moses,” whose image will soon grace the redesigned $20 bill, comes to life in this exhilarating musical drama. If Harriet Tubman is anything like The Children’s Theatre’s Martin’s Dream, it will be fantastic.
