5 (More) Fall Festivals this Weekend in Cincinnati

This weekend is a big one on the fall festival circuit! It’s the first weekend of October, and many local farms are opening their pumpkin patches, showcasing their sunflowers and firing up their tractors!

Here are 5 (more) fall festivals this weekend in Cincinnati:

 

Shaw’s Fall Festival

Daily through Oct. 30
Take the family on a ride around Shaw’s scenic farm property in a traditional tractor hayrides or climb into a horse-drawn wagons (available weekends only). Festival features pumpkin patch, corn maze and two playgrounds. The pumpkin patch at Shaw’s is the main attraction — they harvest 500 tons of pumpkins each year!

Bonnybrook Farms Fall Farm Days

Oct. 1-30
Fun on the Farm’ activities include a “Pick your Own” Pumpkin Patch; Archery; Clodhopper Golf; Crazed Corn Maze; Pony Rides; Giant Slingshots; Geocaching; Horse Shoe Hill with 80’ Underground Slide; Farm Yard Play Area; Birthday Parties; Farm Animals to Pet and Brush and Fish to Feed. Plus several types of covered wagon rides!

Fall Family Fun Weekends at Brown’s Farm Market

Sat., Oct. 1-Sun., Oct. 2
Enjoy fall fun at Brown’s Family Farm Market! Features: play areas, corn maze, straw maze, animals, picnic areas and farm market. All play area activities are free all day every day. Hayrides are $4 a person. All fall decorations, pumpkins, treats etc. are purchased separately in the store. Hayrides run from 11 a.m-6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Hayrides are $4 a person (2 years old and under are free). Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that pumpkins not included in hayride price.

Sunflower Festival at Gorman Heritage Farm

Sat., Oct. 1 and Sun., Oct. 2; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day
Here comes the sun(flowers)! This annual celebration of the fall harvest is a local favorite, receiving recognition as one of the best events in the state according to Ohio Magazine. Join us for Gorman Heritage Farm’s 13th Annual Sunflower Festival. Stroll through fields of golden sunflowers while collecting some to take home, pick your favorite pumpkin, explore our sunflower maze, take a hay ride and visit with the animals at Gorman Heritage Farm’s Sunflower Festival. Enjoy delicious food from local food trucks, crafts from local artisans and live music.

Fall Fest at Neltner’s Farm

Oct. 1-31
Features horse-drawn wagon rides, an expansive corn maze, U-pick pumpkin patch, petting zoo, pony rides, homemade food (and ice cream!), farm shop, crafters, face painting and live music!

Fall on the Farm at Blooms & Berries

Daily through Oct. 31
Okay — so this is technically the sixth festival happening this weekend and we featured it last week, but really, we can’t say enough great things about this festival. Test your family’s skills in the 7-acre corn maze. Take the 30 minute ride out to the picture-perfect pumpkin patch. Sit on the front porch and sip fresh apple cider. No matter what, you’re going to have a great time at this festival!
