We blinked — and came to the end of the summer! We’re looking ahead to a fabulous fall, and celebrating the end of summer in style. This weekend features some of the most family friendly events of the season, and you can bet we’ll be out and about to bid farewell to summer!

Day Out With Thomas
Fri., Aug. 25-Sun., Aug. 27 at LM&M Railroad
Don’t miss LM&M’s most popular ride of the year! Team up with Thomas the Tank Engine for a day of family fun powered by the LM&M Railroad. Tickets include a 25 minute train ride ideal for young children and access to a family friendly event site. Be sure to visit Sir Topham Hatt and the imagination station!

Taste of Blue Ash
Fri., Aug. 25 and Sat., Aug. 26 at Summit Park
Just as Taste of Cincinnati kicks off summer in Cincinnati, Taste of Blue Ash celebrates the end of the season! Taste of Blue Ash Food & Music Festival is a two-day event featuring a variety of food, live music, and family fun! The festival is scheduled for August 25 & 26th at Summit Park. The festival will run from noon-11PM on both days, and also feature local performers. In addition to the great music lineup, concert-goers will be able to choose from a wide variety of local food truck and unique food vendors over the two-day period! Free admission and parking.

Cheetah Run
Sunday, Aug. 27 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Cincinnati Zoo
Run for a purpose! The Cheetah Run proceeds benefit the Cincinnati Zoo, one of the oldest non profits in the city. Your support helps us continue providing world class care for the animals you love! Run like a cheetah!

Return to Eden: A Monarch Festival
Sunday, Aug. 27 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Krohn Conservatory
Join us for a fun day in Eden Park with music, food trucks, crafts and more. Celebrate the great migratory journey of the Monarch butterflies as they pass through our region on their way to Mexico. Stop by the Explore Nature booth to learn about deceptive coloring and mimicry in nature! Free with show admission.

Newport Aquarium Summer Family Hours
Sundays-Fridays through Sept. 1
Summer is almost over, which means Newport Aquarium’s Summer Family Hours are, too! Sundays through Fridays, one kid (age 2-12) gets in free after 4 p.m. with the purchase of one full-priced adult ticket. This offer is available between May 28 and September 1, online only.
