4th of July Parade and Celebration
July 1 (5 – 11 p.m.) and July 2 (3 – 10 p.m.)
Independence, KY
The 4th of July Celebration is the largest event during the summer in Independence. The festival runs on Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday nights you can expect to enjoy rides, music, food and a general festive atmosphere. On Saturday, the celebration starts with a parade that runs from Summit View Middle School to Memorial Park. The festival is held at Memorial Park and begins with the arrival of the parade. Festivities include food, rides & games for children, and concludes with a spectacular fireworks show.
4th of July Jam
July 2, 3 – 11 p.m.

Washington Park will be jammin’ in celebration of the 4th of July! Enjoy live music from Subterranean, Love Alive, and more! See full lineup below. We’re closing down the party with a fireworks show at approximately 9:45 p.m. There will be plenty of activities for the entire family throughout the day including games, a photo booth, and more. We have something for everyone!
Patriotic Pops

Riverbend/PNC Pavillion
Cincinnati’s spectacular Independence Day tradition just got even better! Join JMR and your Cincinnati Pops at Riverbend as we partner with the USO for its 75th anniversary celebration. Complete with singers, dancers, and your pull-out-all-the-stops patriotic Pops, there is no better way to celebrate America’s birthday.
Fourth of July Holiday Fireworks
July 2 – 4 (nightly)

Kings Island lights the fuse on one of the region’s largest and most impressive fireworks displays over the Fourth of July holiday (July 2-4). This colorful pageant in the sky set against the backdrop of the park will be larger in size and scope than the park’s traditional nightly fireworks display.
LaRosa’s Balloon Glow
June 3, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Coney Island comes alive at the 16th Annual LaRosa’s Balloon Glow! Live music, family entertainment and Coney’s Classic Rides make for a fun-filled evening. Later, the evening sky illuminates when hot air balloons of every color “glow” for all to see. The grand finale for the event is a spectacular Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks display over the banks of Lake Como.
Firecracker Festival at Home of the Brave Park
July 3, 3 – 11 p.m.

The event features live music, food and vendor booths, a children’s area with activities, inflatables and a petting zoo, a “Celebrity” Pie Eating Contest and Children’s Bike and Pet Parade parade.
Red, White & Kaboom!
July 3, 7 – 11 p.m.
Harbin Park, Village Green Park and the Fairfield Aquatic Center
Red, White & Kaboom celebrates Independence Day in Fairfield with an amazing fireworks display from Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks with entertainment, food and activities at three official viewing locations in Fairfield (Harbin Park, Village Green Park and the Fairfield Aquatic Center).
Independence Day Celebration at Fountain Square

City of Montgomery Independence Day Celebration Spectacular
July 4, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Downtown Montgomery/Montgomery Park
Parade starts at Cooper Park at 10 a.m., festival runs from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Montgomery Park. Festival features fun kids’ games, corn-on-the-cob, hot dogs, pony rides, music and an ALL-STAR ballgame.
Ault Park Fireworks
July 4, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Join us on Monday, July 4th for a day filled with family fun and an evening celebrating freedom and our Founding Fathers. Concessions include sandwiches, hot dogs, barbeque, pasta, salads, mac ‘n cheese, pretzels, ice cream, lemonade and soft drinks. The event is free and open to the public.
4th of July at Stricker’s Grove

Florence Freedom Fireworks

Enjoy an incredible Independence Day fireworks show as the Freedom honor America at the ballpark. The Freedom take on the Southern Illinois Miners at 7:05pm. National Entertainer Mad Chad makes an appearance to juggle chain saws and flame throwers for a night you won’t want to miss.
As you know, July 4 marks the unofficial start of the “dog days” of summer. We highly recommend cooling off at one of these local splash parks.
