4 Things to do this 4th of July Weekend

It’s officially here: the best weekend of the summer! From fireworks to festivals, there’s no shortage of patriotic activities happening in Cincinnati. In honor of America’s Birthday, we’ve rounded up our top 4 things to do this 4th of July weekend.

Patriotic Pops
July 2, 8-10 p.m.
Riverbend (PNC Pavilion), 6295 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230
Cincinnati’s spectacular Independence Day tradition just got even better! Join John Morris Russell and the Cincinnati Pops at Riverbend as they partner with the USO for its 75th anniversary celebration. Complete with singers, dancers, and your pull-out-all-the-stops patriotic Pops, there is no better way to celebrate America’s birthday.

4th of July Jam at Washington Park
July 2, 3-11 p.m.
Washington Park, 1230 Elm St., Cincinnati, OH 45202
Washington Park will be jammin’ in celebration of the 4th of July! There will be plenty of activities for the entire family throughout the day, including games, a photo booth and fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

National Parks Adventure
Through July 4
Cincinnati Museum Center, 1301 Western Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45203
The National Parks are America’s most beloved national treasures. Narrated by Academy Award winner Robert Redford, National Parks Adventure takes you on the ultimate off-trail adventure into the nation’s awe-inspiring great outdoors and untamed wilderness. Due to Museum renos, it’s the last weekend to catch this film before the Omnimax (temporarily) closes!

LaRosa’s Balloon Glow
July 3, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Coney Island, 6201 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230
Coney Island comes alive at the 16th Annual LaRosa’s Balloon Glow! Live music, family entertainment and Coney’s Classic Rides make for a fun-filled day. Later, the evening sky illuminates when hot air balloons of every color “glow” for all to see. The grand finale for the event is a spectacular Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks display over the banks of Lake Como.
